More diaper excitement..

Yes, I said excitement.

If you had asked me a year ago if I'd ever be excited about diapers,

I probably would have laughed at you.

Oh, how times have changed..

I'm so giddy about the four diaper covers I just ordered.

It's only been a day and I'm wondering how long

they will take to show up on my doorstep.

Of course, me being the thrifty gal that I am

(that's a fun way of saying "poor")

I opted for the free shipping, which makes delivery

something crazy like 5-7 business days.

I know, I know, that's not crazy..

I'm crazy.

I'm OK with that.

I can admit that.

The estimated shipping date is August 31.

And, yes, I've checked it a few times already

to see if maybe it's changed to an earlier date.

Again, I'm OK with my craziness.

So do you want to see what I'm so gosh-dang excited about?

This is a Thirsties diaper cover.

Check out that Celery color with the cute white border!

Diaper cover number three:

This is a Bummis diaper cover.

They call this color "Celery Dot."

Celery.. I might be getting the itch to paint something "Celery".

I wonder if I have any furniture left that hasn't been painted yet..

Anyway, if you're wondering about these diaper covers

and how they work, I'll explain. If not, skip ahead to the

cute sleeping baby at the bottom of this post.

You can use any prefold or fitted diaper under these covers.

They are the waterproof outer layer you need too keep the mess in.

I have two fitted diapers that I ordered a while back

because they were 50% off -- thank you babysteals.com!

They're made of bamboo and silk, sooooo soft.

That was before I knew much about cloth diapering though,

so I didn't realize they needed a waterproof cover.

Talk about 50% off...

But now I'll be able to use them under these cute covers!

I also have a pack of prefolds. Those are the three panel

cloths that most people use for burp cloths.

Just fold it up, lay it in the cover, and wrap it around

your baby's cute little tooshie. Easy peasy.

I can't wait to try them!

Now, on to the sleeping beauty..

Looks like I misunderstood..
the estimated shipping date is August 31st..
the estimated delivery date is Sept 8th to Sept 14th..
