So I researched a few photo printing websites for an idea of how much this cute little Alphabet Book is going to cost me.
I can get one for $20 or $30..
..or I can get the one I want for over $100.
Yikes.
I closed all my web browsers, wiped the tears from my eyes, and decided two things:
1. (I think) I'm going to save up for the one I want (call me crazy, but I have my reasons!)
2. I'm changing my design to just one photo per letter (because there are 26 letters, which equals 26 pages, and more pages equals more money).
-these photos are precious to me and I want something that will last
-the photo pages are printed on boards instead of flimsy, tearable paper
-...
Well, ok, so I only have two good reasons for now.
I'll find more.
Or maybe I could get a nice fancy one as a keepsake, and a cheaper one for Paige to

Speaking of help, what do you think of these?
I'm leaning toward the second one because it is more obvious, but the first one looks like a real ballerina pose! Also, I want my book to be square, so I will have to edit my already edited A, B, C, and G..
Ok. I'm exhausted from all this thinking and Paige is awake and yelling at me through the baby moniter. Goodbye for now!

Your not crazy to want the nicer book...you are putting a lot of work into it and will keep it forever! And I like the second one :)

ReplyDeleteI LOVE both the tutu photos, but I like #2 the most... and I also would go for the expensive book. We had our wedding album printed on the thick pages that you are talking about, and it is SO nice! Plus, Paige won't be able to rip the pages... You are so creative and cute!
