Let's start with Christmas! I got to spend three days being Auntie Jenna, then the rest of the holiday weekend with family and friends. My nephews Carter and Caden had so much fun unwrapping gifts, digging through stockings, and leaving oreo cookies and chocolate milk out for Santa. I got a pretty good picture of what the next few years are going to look like for Matt and I. I'm pretty excited :)

And here's a lovely photo of Matty and I all ready for the Ugly Sweater Christmas Party. Check out Matt's sweater.. real Alpaca ;)
While everyone else enjoyed the pretty champagne, I enjoyed the FOOD!
I got to take Josh out for a little Senior Photo session while I was in town. What a model, huh? Here's a few of my favorites.
Earlier in the month of December, Buck and Jamie came over to visit. We decided to have a lobster dinner at our house, so we took a little drive to the Avila pier. Little did we know, a crazy rainstorm was going on outside. The boys jumped out and battled with the rain while Jamie and I stayed dry in the car and snapped lots of photos!
Let the steaming begin!
Tada!
Luckily, the rain didn't stay all weekend and we got some sunshine to play with. Here's Buck and Jamie being cute.
And here it is, the belly. I have no idea how I'm this large and in charge already. I'm just barely over 4 months, I've gained a total of 3 pounds, so where is this gigantic bump coming from?? I think I've graduated from the "You look like you put on some weight" to the "You look pregnant" stage. I wore maternity pants to work last week for the fist time. I felt a little tiny kick the other night! Matt felt one too. In less than 2 weeks we find out if this "little" sweet potato is a boy or a girl. I'm still convinced it's a boy, and of course Matt agrees, so I'm excited to see if I've got that motherly intuition already! Lots of changes going on. We're finally in the "year of the baby." 2010 makes us a mommy and daddy. Scary, exciting, overwhelming, refreshing.. all of the above. Look out world, a brand new Sarr is just months away from making an appearance!
Take a look at this little guy. Kinda ugly and kinda cute, all at the same time. Matt and I took a scenic drive in a convertible up to San Simeon to see the elephant seals yesterday. We made a few stops on the way up and back. It was a nice relaxing way to start off the new year, if you ask me.
My gosh, you are HUGE! (In a very good way of course!) You look even bigger than you were last weekend, is that possible? Are you sure there's only ONE new Sarr in there?
ReplyDeleteOh My Jenna that is the cutest little bouncy ball belly bump. I can't wait you hear boy or girl; because that gives me a reason to do some shopping. I hated missing seeing everyone for Christmas but I couldn't get off work, but I will have to come see you soon. Miss you and Matt and Baby Sarr (btw any name ideas yet)

what a beautiful little tummy you have going on there! i can't wait to meet your little one!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it scary to think about how much bigger we're going to get before this is done? I feel so big already and my baby's got at least another 5lbs to go!
