5.23.2011

The last 2 months..

I've done it again.
I've slacked.
BIG TIME.
Here's a mini photo timeline to make up for my lack of blog-love.

3.24.2011
A sweet face, a pretty homemade headband, and a precious flannel from her Aunt Ler.

3.25.2011
Digging through the dresser to cover up those sweet cheeks.

3.29.2011
Breakfast with Chloe.

4.9.2011
A windy day at Avila Beach.

4.16.2011
A much warmer day in Avila Beach.
She ate an avocado and crawled into the ocean.

4.19.2011
Smiling, swinging, BabyLeg-wearing.

4.27.2011
Thoroughly enjoying the sprinkler. This baby loves water.

5.7.2011
Posing for the camera at a bridal shower.

5.13.2011
In the tub because, as you can see, she was playing in the dirt!

OK.

I know that was the quickest "catch-up" in the history of blogging,
but I can't just throw 573,268 images up in one post.

That would be ridiculous, right?

(Or is it more ridiculous that I might actually have that many photos of this child?)

More photos to come, for those of you who check
my blog daily for a new photo of this baby girl.

;)

I know you're out there, I've talked to you.
And if I haven't talked to you, I've heard about you.

Yes, I'm talking about you.

You, the one who is too afraid to "publicly follow" me.
It's ok, I do the same thing with lots of other blogs.
This is me double-dog-daring you to leave a comment.

I might not respond right away (mostly because I don't know the best way to do so.. do I respond in a new blog post? ..or under the original comment as a new comment from me? ..will you even see it if I respond there? ..will it notify you like Facebook?) but it would be fun to "meet" some of you secret followers.

To tell you the truth, I kinda thought this thing was an update for my family who doesn't get to see Paige on a daily basis. I never really thought about other people caring about what we're up to over here. But I've heard about you! You are out there enjoying my writing and picture-taking and that makes me smile!

So show your face sometime.
You don't have to right away, I know it's scary.
Baby steps :)

While you're mustering up the courage to introduce yourself, I'll be throwing more photos your way! There'll be an Easter update, a 10 Month and 11 Month photo (ok, maybe more than one.. I can't help myself), a newborn baby photo shoot, some cousin cuteness.. and I'm sure there's plenty more that my half-awake brain is refusing to remember.

G'night all.

  3. Must admit... I check often to see if you've updated. Paige is just about the cutest thing I've seen aside from my two adorable little munchkins.

And, I am borrowing your alphabet book idea (genius!) for my sweet Jax's FIRST birthday. I was wondering what website you found that turns it into a board book?? I've been looking & haven't had much luck.

It's always fun to meet & talk with other young Mommies. Hope you feel the same :)

  5. Shelby- I couldn't help myself with the booty shot!

Mom ("grandma")- you're kinda the main reason I try to keep this thing updated :)

Ashlie- Nice to "meet" you! I haven't found anything reasonable with the board book.. I will definitely post about that (if I ever finish it). And thank you for including your web address, I love checking out other mommy blogs.

Michelle- I see your adventures on Jamie's blog, and you girls inspire me to get more creative with my photography! I need to add your blog to my list. And maybe someday join you on a photo walk.

  6. I am a secret follower. I am new to the blogging world :) I don't know if you remember me, I used to go to Gateway and met you a long time ago. I love reading your posts and updates about your adorable little girl! I have an 8 month old, Emma. It's comforting to read about other new mamas and their little ones!
