Happy Half Birthday!

3 days ago, this little lady turned 6 months old. 

At her last well-baby check-up, she:

- flashed a sweet smile at the nurse on our way in

- tried to steal/swallow her doctor's flashlight

- got mad when he looked in her ears

- was a little nervous laying naked on the scale

- weighed in at a whopping 15 lbs, 14oz

- measured 25.5 inches tall

- chewed on her toys

- chewed on her fingers

- chewed on my fingers

- didn't even flinch after her first shot

- shed a little tear after her second shot

- earned two fancy band-aids

- flashed a sweet smile at the nurse on our way out

This week she has mastered the art of moving forward on her belly. I'm not going to call it crawling yet, but she sure knows how to get herself across the room. I could try explaining it to you, but I'll just let you see for yourself. Here's a video of her scooting to get her Mr. Owl.

A little side-note on Mr. Owl, because I think he deserves it: Paige LOVES Mr. Owl. More than all her other stuffed toys. She opens her mouth and reaches out whenever she sees him. She lays her head on him when she's rolling around on the floor. She spits up on him. He's a real pal. Most of the time he'll be dangling from his wing in her mouth, his eyes open as wide as hers, looking up at me like they both just got caught with their hand/wing in the cookie jar. Good thing we don't have a cookie jar, or I'd be suspicious.

Just a little update today. I'm off to do laundry and attempt some Christmas tree decorating. I'll be sure to get pictures of our holiday-ified home. Lots of homemade and revamped decorations this year! Stay tuned..
